Lone Star Interface Design specializes in the design of exceptional graphical user interfaces, interactive computer-based museum exhibits, kiosk presentations and educational displays. Lone Star Interface Design also specializes in information visualization.

Dr. Janet M. Six is the principal of Lone Star Interface Design. Janet received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and was awarded the Jonsson School of Engineering Computer Science Dissertation of the Year Award for her research in information visualization. Janet was also awarded the prestigious IEEE Dallas Section 2003 Outstanding Young Engineer Award. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Graph Algorithms and Applications and the Kluwer International Series in Engineering and Computer Science. Results of her research are also included in the proceedings of conferences on Graph Drawing, Information Visualization and Algorithm Engineering and Experiments. Janet is serving on the advisory board for the Institute for Interactive Arts and Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas. She is also a member of the IEEE, IEEE Dallas Section Consultants Network and American Association of Museums.
